Motion

Bringing life into design with the power of movement

Logo animation and transition for a fintech startup. This is a multipurpose animation for future motion graphics, presentation, loading screens on digital products and many more.

It's not a coincidence that 'animate' is a synonym for 'alive'. Our brain perceives things that move as alive, while static things are often seen as artificial.

The digital landscape gives us enormous possibilities to explore the potential of motion. Yet, many websites and mobile apps have not taken advantage of that. Most digital products are static and information-driven. Most brands as well. Motion is one of the most powerful tools to standout from the crowd.

Motion is emotion

Animation is the best tool to tell a compelling story. A simple, yet powerful video will grab attention and evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I can help with creating a compelling story for advertisement, social media, your website and app, and many more.

Motion is an immersive experience

Making things move gives them character and personality. It makes them visually interesting, it gives people guidance on what and where to look at, and it makes processing information easier.

In the competitive digital space where attention is the biggest currency, motion is the superpower to get any important message across a broad audience.

Motion language and systems

Motion language is part of a brand. It’s the tone of voice but for movement instead of words. It’s all about adding personality. The way a brand looks and talks is equally important as how it moves. Templating animation and certain movements, easing and timings delivers a consistent brand motion experience that’s easy to reproduce.

When it comes to digital animation, systemizing is important for an efficient and seamless integration. Motion design system is not very different from a UI design system. Principles like timing (having logical times for different types of animations), staging (the order of which elements animate), easing (the speed and curve of movement), and many others are important in the process.

My aim is to create a cohesive experience, but not repetitive or too predictable.
